The Tax Payer
Stop re-typing the same payment into a bank's screens. Load a batch of payments, check each one against its source document and the live page, and let The Tax Payer fill the screens up to the final button. You press it.
How it works
Load the payments
Drop in a payments file. Anything missing, like a payee, account number or amount, is refused with what's wrong, and a routing number that fails the check digit is flagged.
Verify against the source
Each payment is laid out as one list of values in the order the screens ask for them. The amount, date and bank account must be confirmed by you, and each value links to the document it came from.
Fill the screens
One click opens the payment's page and walks it screen by screen, reading each page back against the file. A screen it can't answer stops and asks, and your answer is remembered.
You press Submit
When the last screen matches, it alerts you. Then you take a final look and press the button yourself, and The Tax Payer can print the confirmation as a named PDF.
It never presses the last button
The only buttons it will click are Next, Continue and Review. Anything named submit, schedule, send, pay, confirm or approve is refused.
Catches mismatches
Every value is read back from the page. Green means the page agrees, and amber means it reads back different. A pay date after the due date is flagged.
Batches, one after another
Several payments for the same client, like the state and the federal one, run in order. Each stops at its last screen for you.
